Endocannabinoid System
The Endocannabinoid System is composed of neurotransmitters that are made within the body. The two main endocannabinoids are Anandamide(AEA) and Arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG). These endocanninoids bind to the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors, which are located throughout the brain and body. This system can potentially influence certain processes in the body.
